The University of the Philippines College Admission Test, commonly known as UPCAT, is an essential part of the admission process at the University of the Philippines. It is designed for graduates of both Philippine and foreign high schools and has been in existence since 1968.

The UPCAT assesses students in four key areas: Language Proficiency in both English and Filipino, Reading Comprehension in English and Filipino, Science, and Math. The scores from these subtests are combined with the weighted average of high school final grades from the last three years to determine eligibility for entrance into the University.
